Quilting & Branding…

This project was completed for a client, Image Quilting, LLC, who sought a cohesive brand identity. The work required a versatile design approach as the client refined their vision. I guided them through each stage of development while strengthening my ability to communicate design concepts clearly to a general audience. The resulting design captured exactly what the client envisioned but struggled to articulate — a look that balanced whimsy with professional appeal.

The brand package included a primary logo, two black-and-white logo variations, and a business card design.

A little trial and error…

In the first meeting, the client originally asked for designs with key words such as “orderly,” “centered,” “classic,” and “Art Deco.”

Although pleased with the original concept, the client decided to go in an entirely different direction - "asymmetry," “whimsey,” and “texture.”

New skills…check!

This project allowed me to learn how to turn a client’s unclear
ideas into a cohesive visual story — and gained confidence guiding

brand development from concept to completion. Along the way, I was able to shift from one design concept into a completly different visual tone that aligned with the client’s vision.
